We are extremely excited to announce the next open call for a one-month residency dedicated to artists! We offer space and time for your artistic research in a creative hub in Split, Croatia.
Culture Hub Croatia (Split, Croatia) and Malý Berlín (Trnava, Slovakia) are launching an open call for a one-month research-based residency for visual artists.
The residency offers accommodation with a studio, technical and production support, necessary materials, and the possibility to live and work within a lively creative community.
Period of residency:
November 24 – December 21, 2025
Creative Hub PROSTOR
About the hosting institution: PROSTOR is a vibrant creative hub, open Mon-Fri, 10-19h. There are many events on a weekly basis, such as exhibition openings, talks, meet-ups, and workshops so you will be immersed in a community and will have many opportunities to network. We pay special attention to participatory and community-based projects and also work in the neighbourhood around PROSTOR. Our community includes many local artists and creatives and you will have a chance to meet them! Our educational programmes include workshops like freestyle ceramics, meditative drawing, paper making, felting, patchwork…

Residency offer:
- free accommodation at the PROSTOR residency,
- studio space (see more here),
- artist fee €800,
- material costs up to €200,
- travel costs up to €300,
- curatorial, production, and PR support,
- connection with the local cultural scene and artists.
The expectations from the resident:
- active participation in the residency,
- presentation for a local artistic audience,
- at least one public event to present the work to the audience (in the form of open studio, lecture, workshop, artist talk, etc.) during the residency.
The application form must include the following three documents, all of which must be in English and PDF format:
- CV,
- portfolio (max. 15 pages),
- cover letter (motivation, reasons for applying, and a brief description of the project proposal you wish to develop while in Split),
